The right diet for the right body

In many areas of our life, we realize that it takes the proper ingredients in the proper proportions to achieve success. Everyone who has ever tried making a cake from scratch knows that if you deviate very far from a cake recipe, you won’t end up with a cake. The same is true for our bodies, if we deprive it of certain elements we can see it and feel it. Our bodies are pretty forgiving of neglect. However, if you hope to attain the maximum efficiency, not to mention looking and feeling your best, you must give your body the ingredients it requires.

Water: 8 Glass Minimum, Not Maximum

Next to air the most necessary ingredient for life is water. Some water can come from the food we eat but it is important to note that the more salt consumed the more water the body needs. In addition, when it is hot and we lose a lot through perspiration more water is required.

Food: Navigate through Junk Food, Fast Food, and the Right Food

There is a lot of science for the right diet for the right body. One mantra that we recommend abiding by is this: if the food has an expiration date, it’s good for you; if the food can’t expire, it’s bad for you. Always choose fresh, wholesome ingredients when you can. Not only our fruits, vegetables, and whole grains better for your heart, but you’ll also see the difference in your skin and overall appearance. When it comes to nutrition, stick the basics: fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. The more power food you take in, the better you’ll look and feel. Cellulite Guide

Say See Ya to Cellulite This Summer!

Oftentimes, it’s not the weight that keeps a woman from strutting her stuff on the beach, it’s her cellulite. Cellulite is defined as the dimpled appearance of the skin caused by fat deposits that are just below the surface of the skin. It’s most common to find cellulite on the abdomen, lower limbs, and pelvic region, and it usually occurs after puberty.

Causes of Cellulite

There are many factors attributed to cellulite, such as metabolism, physiology, dieting too hard or too much, even the types of food you eat and the amount of water you drink can play a significant role in causing cellulite. Let’s explore….

Diet & Habits

One of the best ways to diminish the look of cellulite is starting with you. Examine the types of food you’re eating on a regular basis. For instance, fried foods can wreak havoc on your skin and overall appearance. Also, how much water are you consuming a day? The right amount of water will make a big difference in the overall appearance of your skin. The more water you drink, the more supple your skin looks. Avoid these foods to reduce excess cellulite:

  • Excessively sugary foods
  • Excessively salty foods
  • Saturated foods
  • Alcohol
  • Junk Food

Instead, enjoy more of these:

  • Blueberries and blackberries
  • Cherries
  • Mangos
  • Oranges
  • Strawberries and raspberries
  • Cranberries
  • Grapefruit
  • Apples
  • Spinach
  • Tomatoes
  • Fennel
  • Bell peppers
  • Carrots
